![]() With this in mind, keep working your way down – below there is a simple way to take over the necessary folder. Nonetheless, being able to manage the contents of the folder in question may come in pretty handy in a situation where you need to free up some valuable space and move some games of yours from their default location to somewhere else or in a case where deleting the leftover files of an uninstalled entity is required. ![]() Microsoft might think that this kind of restriction is here for a good reason since you can otherwise tamper with something crucial, thus harming your system. This location might seem pretty obvious however, the catch is, you are not allowed to access this folder. If that is your case, it is time for you to crack the mystery: the exact place in which your games dwell is C:\Program Files\WindowsApps. Where are Windows Store apps installed on Windows 10?Īlthough Windows Store products are quite good at meeting the demands of modern-day gaming and enjoy widespread popularity with kids, teens, and adults, those gamers are often unaware of where their Microsoft games are actually stored. In this very article, there are helpful tips on how to find where Windows Store games are stored on your Windows 10 and how to migrate them to another location if need be. If you have been toying with that idea and the question ‘Where are my Windows 10 games stored?’ keeps bothering you, you have come to the right place. That said, you might be asking, ‘How to find games I’ve downloaded from Microsoft Store?’ The thing is, some of them might be hogging too much space on your PC, which means there is a chance that you will end up wishing to relocate a game or two. Just open the app, choose the game you like, wait a bit, and enjoy a new adventure – that’s all you have to do. However, we mostly rely on one-click solutions these days, so it is no wonder that games from Microsoft Store are downloaded and installed automatically. I've added to my wishlist and followed to show interest, If they keep this up I'll likely buy FH5 and Motorsport on steam rather than Ms store. We bet you remember there were days when you had to install your games yourself by using good old installers and wizards. I know this wont allow me to transfer my saves over due to "techincal limitations" so I likely won't buy it because of that, can't see me spending another £99 to start all over again. The main reason I want this on steam is because of the way I have to connect to MS servers with Teredo which is a pain the ass! I have to "fix my connection" in settings and restart my PC everytime i do an update or restart/shutdown the PC for any reason and its so annoying! Tried all sorts of methods to fix it, I'll be interested to see if this is a non-issue on steam (for me at least). I got a lot out of the ultimate edition this time around but still I agree ultimate editions should include everything. I get the gripe here as I have the Ultimate Edition FH4 since release on MS store, but I also have the UE for FH3 and that didnt even come with the DLC's. But given that they can't even be bothered to let Ultimate Edition owners have the latest DLC for free I think it's safe to say that'd be way too generous for them. ![]() Of course, Microsoft could always just pay Valve for every account they migrate to Steam. But not microsoft, it's just take it or leave it with them. Some might try cut a deal to the benefit of their loyal customers that still ends up being a win win for all parties.
